Teachers and educators: your document in 30 seconds, in the language of your session
Educational assessment, Meeting summary, and Support plan: dictate or paste what was said, and Notae structures the document in your own vocabulary. You review it, validate it, and send it.
Between back-to-back classes and following each student, writing a clear educational assessment takes time a teacher's schedule rarely allows. Notae turns what was observed and said during the session into a structured document, without ever assigning a diagnosis not already made by someone else.
Three formats, your vocabulary
A teacher Notae account only sees these three formats — never the formats or vocabulary reserved for another profession, and vice versa.
- Educational assessment — Reason for the request, skills observed (strengths and reported difficulties), methods already tried (if mentioned), educational goals, and proposed work plan.
- Meeting summary — Topic discussed, points shared by each party (factual), difficulties reported, decisions or agreements made, and next step.
- Support plan — Needs identified (reported or observed), educational goals (measurable where possible), planned accommodations or methods, frequency and duration, and scheduled review.
Before / after, on an example
What you dictate at the end of the exchange:
"how did the reading exercises go this week? a bit better but I still get stuck on long words — let's redo the syllable-splitting exercise, try this word — there, that's already more fluent — keep doing ten minutes a day and we'll go over a new text next week"
What Notae produces (Meeting summary format):
Topic discussed : reading progress, syllable-splitting exercise.
Points shared : improvement reported on short words, ongoing difficulty with long words.
Decisions made : continue the exercise at home, ten minutes a day.
Next step : new text to review next week.
To be validated by the professional.

Frequently asked questions
Does Notae make a diagnosis (a learning disorder, ADHD…)?
No, never, unless it has already been made by someone else and mentioned as such in the exchange. Notae reports the observed skills and methods tried, without adding a clinical interpretation.
Does a teacher account see formats meant for other professions?
No. Every Notae account has a profession chosen at signup. A teacher account only sees the formats and vocabulary specific to their profession; it has no access to any format or text reserved for another profession (for example a nurse), and vice versa.
Is the confidentiality of the student and their family respected?
Yes. Documents stay in your account; you decide what is shared with parents, the student, or the teaching team.
