Lawyers and legal professionals

Lawyers and legal professionals: your document in 30 seconds, in the language of your consultation

Consultation, Client summary, and Action list: dictate or paste what was said, and Notae structures the document in your own vocabulary. You review it, validate it, and send it.

Between back-to-back client meetings and growing case files, writing up the consultation summary often happens after the fact, risking a forgotten deadline or document. Notae turns what was said during the meeting into a structured document, without ever inventing a legal basis, a deadline, or an amount.

Three formats, your vocabulary

A lawyer Notae account only sees these three formats — never the formats or vocabulary reserved for another profession, and vice versa.

  • Consultation — Facts presented by the client (chronology, factual elements only), questions raised, preliminary analysis (only what the professional stated in the exchange, without adding a new legal qualification), documents to provide (if mentioned), and actions and deadlines (agreed next steps).
  • Client summary — What was covered together, what to remember, what's planned (next steps), and deadlines.
  • Action list — Documents for the client to provide, steps to take (by whom, by when), applicable legal deadlines (only if mentioned in the exchange), and point of contact/next deadline.

Before / after, on an example

What you dictate at the end of the exchange:

"the lease was terminated by the landlord last month? yes, I got a registered letter on the 15th with three months' notice — did you keep the letter? yes, I have it with me — we'll check the stated grounds and the legal deadlines, I'll get back to you with the options by the end of the week"

What Notae produces (Consultation format):

Facts stated by the client : lease terminated by the landlord, notified by registered letter on the 15th, three months' notice.

Documents to provide : registered letter (already in the client's possession).

Preliminary analysis : stated grounds and applicable legal deadlines still to be checked.

Actions and deadlines : follow-up with possible options by the end of the week.

To be validated by the legal professional before sending.

Frequently asked questions

Does Notae give legal advice?

No, never. Notae reports the facts and what the professional stated during the exchange; it never invents or fills in a legal basis, deadline, or amount that wasn't stated.

Does a lawyer account see formats meant for other professions?

No. Every Notae account has a profession chosen at signup. A lawyer account only sees the formats and vocabulary specific to their profession; it has no access to any format or text reserved for another profession (for example a physiotherapist), and vice versa.

Is the lawyer's professional confidentiality respected?

Yes. Nothing leaves your account without your action: summaries stay confidential and you decide whether to send them to the client or a colleague.
