Coaches and trainers

Coaches and trainers: your document in 30 seconds, in the language of your session

Session note, Action plan, and Progress review: dictate or paste what was said, and Notae structures the document in your own vocabulary. You review it, validate it, and send it.

Between back-to-back sessions and tracking each client's goals, keeping a clear record of what was agreed takes time many coaches don't have. Notae turns what was said during the session into a structured document, without ever diagnosing or psychologically interpreting what is reported.

Three formats, your vocabulary

A coach Notae account only sees these three formats — never the formats or vocabulary reserved for another profession, and vice versa.

  • Session note — Session goal, points discussed (as reported), progress and obstacles (as reported), commitments made (by the client), and next session.
  • Action plan — Overall goal, concrete steps (as agreed), deadlines (if given), and progress indicators (if mentioned).
  • Progress review — Path so far (factual summary of sessions), progress observed (as reported), ongoing difficulties, and outlook (next steps, if mentioned).

Before / after, on an example

What you dictate at the end of the exchange:

"how are you doing on the goal we set last time? I managed to speak up in meetings twice this week, it was easier than I thought — what helped? I'd prepared a few sentences in advance, that reassured me — let's keep that approach and add a new goal: suggest an idea in a meeting"

What Notae produces (Session note format):

Session goal : follow-up on the "speaking up in meetings" goal.

Points discussed : two successful instances of speaking up this week; preparing sentences in advance identified as helpful.

Progress and obstacles : progress reported, less apprehension than expected.

Commitment made : suggest an idea in a meeting before the next session.

To be validated by the professional.

Frequently asked questions

Does Notae interpret what the client says?

No. Notae reports the goals, progress, and obstacles exactly as stated, without ever diagnosing or adding a psychological interpretation.

Does a coach account see formats meant for other professions?

No. Every Notae account has a profession chosen at signup. A coach account only sees the formats and vocabulary specific to their profession; it has no access to any format or text reserved for another profession (for example a doctor), and vice versa.

Do your conversations with clients stay confidential?

Yes. Session notes stay in your account; you decide what is shared, with whom, and in what form.
